If it's Wednesday morning, motorists in Englewood are seeing volunteers holding up signs about red tide. If it's the first or third Wednesday of the month, the sign display will be on South McCall Road, in front of Walmart. If it's the second or fourth Wednesday, the signs will be visible at the intersection of West Dearborn Street and South Indiana Avenue. The signs are on display between 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
The public is encouraged to join Englewood Indivisible members in holding one of the 16 signs Englewood Indivisible members carried in the Pioneer Days Parade. To summarize those times:
On the Wednesdays we're at Dearborn and Indiana, we leave at 9:25 and go enjoy a coffee hour together.
The Ode to Red Tide (shown in this post) that they comprise has made the news several times since the parade. You can read about our participation in the parade here.
We have registered our sign displays at #StandOnEveryCorner.
