Don't wake up with regrets on November 4th!

We can't say it enough (or maybe we don't need to say it at all): You don't want to wake up on November 4th without having done everything you possibly could to swing Florida to Joe Biden. If Trump loses Florida, it's game over. And it's on us to make that happen.

Here are many different opportunities to meaningfully pitch in and win the election. Please pick at least one.
New And Important Opportunities October 24th to Election Day

In Charlotte County daily: canvass with the Biden team. More information here. In North Port October 31st: Drop literature at doors encouraging voting. Details here.

In Charlotte County
  • New And Important: Be a Poll Greeter for early voting at the San Casa Annex. You will be holding signs for our Democratic Candidates and distributing voting information. You must remain 150 ft. from the entrance of the building The Charlotte County Dems will provide all material, but you should bring a chair and refreshments. Sign up here.
  • Contact voters by phone with the Charlotte Dems in coordination with the Biden campaign. Sign up here.
  • Make phone calls with the David Jones For Florida House campaign. Call 419-349-8406 to volunteer.
  • Wave signs with the Charlotte Dems Tuesdays 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to Noon. Social distance and must wear mask. Details here.
  • Volunteer with Katherine Norman for State Senate. She is challenging Joe Gruters for Senate District 23, representing our members in both Charlotte and Sarasota Counties, and needs phone bankers, social media volunteers and more. Text or phone 646-334-5421 to sign on. More info.
  • Blue Wave Flash sign-waving every Friday afternoon from 4:45 to 5:15 PM with the David Jones campaign. Locations here.
  • Please also donate to the Charlotte Dems to support their efforts to get out the vote.
In Sarasota County
  • In Sarasota County be a Poll Watcher or Outside Poll Observer. Poll Watchers must be registered Sarasota County voters and will be trained to work inside the polling location on Election Day, observing and reporting to the Outside Poll Observer, who works to resolve issues voters may have encountered. Shifts are half-day and volunteers work alone. This work is part of the Florida Democratic Party Voter Protection Program.   • Help Alice White's campaign for County Commission in Englewood and North Port. Englewood Indivisible member Alice White has a full schedule of hanging door-hangers, waving signs and even a Meet and Greet. All details here.

Wherever You Are

Vote Forward, a project of several national organizations, has sent 10 million volunteer-written letters encouraging low-propensity voters to vote. They are now aiming for 5 million letters giving voters information on how to vote.

To write some letters yourself, go to the Vote Forward website. After you sign in or register, you will be able to choose to write to Florida voters.
