Englewood Indivisible member Dave Jones, Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, will speak at our monthly meeting on Saturday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM.

We're meeting at the Elsie Quirk Library, 100 West Dearborn Street, Englewood 34223. Newcomers are always welcomed at our meetings.

Dave Jones is challenging Rep. Michael Grant for the 75th House District. We will also hear from three members who traveled to the Texas-Mexico border to witness the suffering caused by the Trump administration's "Remain in Mexico" policy to asylum seekers.

We'll also discuss projects underway, such as our voter contact campaign and the weekly visibility actions we just launched with Indivisible Venice. You can see details of upcoming actions in the calendar. We may also plan our social gatherings.

You can pick up a list of voters in your neighborhood in Charlotte and Sarasota Counties and start contacting voters registered as independent, looking for those who will not vote for Trump in 2020. (We will find you a partner if you don't want to do this alone.)

We have new business cards for you to stock up on. And as always, we'll have our Indivisible Florida t-shirts for sale.
