Demonstrate Support Of Impeachment On Tuesday

Local Indivisible Groups will lead sign visibility in Venice

At 5:30 PM on Tuesday, December 17th, Englewood Indivisible, Indivisible Action Southwest Florida and Indivisible Venice will lead a demonstration at the corner of Jacaranda Blvd. and U.S. 41 in Venice, in support of the impeachment of President Trump. The action is timed for the evening before the House impeaches Donald Trump, as one of hundreds of demonstrations in all 50 states and DC.

Our local demonstration is open to all. It will be peaceful and law-abiding. Our signs will express the solemnity of impeachment and the importance of our democracy. Examples of signs: "Defend Democracy," "No One Is Above The Law," "Impeach And Remove," "Impeach For Abuse Of Office," "Facts Matter."

We will have flags available.

Please join us! We have the opportunity to make the impeachment vote a turning point—the start of a new page in American history.

Note: It's best to park in the section of the Walmart parking lot closest to Jacaranda and US 41.

Also note: It's fine for you to bring a chair to sit on.

Another note: There may well be Trump supporters and they may well harass us. Please do not engage with them! Our practice is to turn our backs to them.
