Nov. 2nd: March With Three Indivisible Groups In The Pioneer Days Parade | Woodstock * 50 Is Theme for Parade

Pioneer Days Parade Rescheduled for Nov. 2nd

Three Indivisible groups -- Indivisible Action Southwest Florida, Englewood Indivisible and Indivisible Venice -- will team up behind a Woodstock * 50-themed float for Englewood's annual Pioneer Days Parade.

The Parade will take place on Saturday afternoon November 2nd. Originally set for Labor Day morning, it was postponed because of Hurricane Dorian.

We invite all our members and supporters to join us, either riding on our float or walking behind us. We are putting together goodie bags to hand out to spectators. We'll have plenty of cold drinks for you but you'll need sunscreen and a hat.

Please plan to join us at 3:30 PM at the Englewood Shopping Center200 S Indiana Ave, Englewood 34223. We will be in place D27.

Please wear either your Indivisible Florida t-shirts or your still-splendid 60s gear. You can download a pdf version of Sherry O'Connell's  illustration, which has suggestions about signage and what to wear.

On October 31st, the Pioneer Days Committee sent us the parade map (see below), a Welcome Letter, laying out the rules and procedures, and the lineup of participating groups.

You can see here what our contingent looked like last year.
