School Board Candidate fields dozens of questions

Cara Reynolds, who is running for Charlotte County School Board, spoke at Englewood Indivisible's meeting on Saturday August 18th.

The mother of three children in the Charlotte County public schools, Reynolds recounted how she decided to move from educator in the system to policy-maker. 

She advocated bringing innovative approaches to improving outcomes.  She many questions from members, displaying extensive knowledge of the school district. She said she would never vote for a for-profit charter school.

Reynolds and her husband run a local emergency services company.

Note that the election for school board is non-partisan and will be decided on August 28th at the same time as primary contests!
