Lights For Liberty Vigil Opposing Immigrant Detention in Sarasota View slide show


At least 400 people opposed to Trump's treatment of immigrants attended a sunset vigil in Saraosta at the Unconditional Surrender statue on Friday, July 12th. Participants holding signs and lights heard speeches by clergy, immigrants and activists.

The vigil was one of hundreds called by Lights for Liberty.

Vigil To Support Children In Homestead Detention Center View slide show


Indivisible group members from all over Florida have been traveling to join the vigil at the detention center in Homestead, Florida, where more than 2,000 children who crossed the U.S. border unaccompanied are confined. Herd On The Hill Delivers Letter Signed By Englewood Indivisible Members


On April 11th Herd on the Hill, an Indivisible group in Washington DC, hand-delivered a letter to  Rep. Greg Steube that we signed at our April 6th meeting. The letter calls for release of the Mueller report and continuing investigations of alleged Trump administration corruption and illegality.  Several Florida Indivisible groups sent the same letter to their representatives.
